Old Highway 21 in Dublin
Back in the day, Highway 21 took you from Dublin north or south. Now we call it San Ramon Road (to the north) or Foothill Blvd. (to the south). Dublin and San Ramon Village (a residential and commercial development on the right) in 1961.

The Antone School opened in in 1912 to serve the families in and around Tassajara Road near the Alameda/Contra Costa county border. Its one room school house probably taught about a dozen students in all grades at any one time. It closed in 1944.
