I’m happy to report some of our accomplishments and comments during the last year. Our membership is steady and we have 112 members, including 50 life, 22 family, 35 regular, and five institutional memberships. Our finances are good and we have sufficient funds for our current needs. The Dublin Camp Parks Military History Center planning efforts have made very good progress and showed the great cooperation between the stakeholders (Army, Dublin, Heritage and Cultural Arts, DHPA and others). The Dublin Pioneer Cemetery improvements are moving forward after the public review of the city’s proposals. The City is going to improve the park grounds and plantings. In line with our support of the Dublin Heritage Park & Museums we led a number of projects including the following: buying and donating an antique washing machine for the Kolb House, paying for large ornamental flags for the park and memorial flags for the cemetery; and providing money for a number of Eagle Scout projects around the park. In addition, DHPA individual members continue to be involved in exhibits and events. We look forward to doing even more in the 2015/2016 period. Why don’t you come and join us?
